The history of Eva Schulte-Günnes´ family is closely connected to the idyllic place that lies at the shores of the Möhnesee where the ´Dressage and Training Stable van Laak´ is situated. Name of the place: Günne – the place where dressage horses are made, a name that is not only known in Germany.
824 years ago, the ancestors of Eva Schulte-Günne, who holds the title ´Pferdewirtschaftsmeisterin´, laid the foundation stone of the yard. When the stone was laid, not only the yard began to grow, but it was also the beginning of the village Günne, which was built and set up around the yard.

Step by step Eva´s father changed the yard´s agricultural business to a classical Equitation Centre. Eva learned her trade with trainers such as Holger Münstermann and ´Reitmeister` Johann Hinnemann. Her husband Norbert van Laak trained her for a period of time, as well.
Bound by tradition Eva Schulte-Günne took over the yard from her parents. The passionate dressage rider who is successful up to advanced level (level-S) and Norbert van Laak take affectionate care of the young dressage horses and their training.
